 DIANA CRAFER

Trained at Swindon College and by the late Christopher Assheton-Stones, Diana is the former secretary of the Swindon Artists Society and present chairperson of the Swindon Artists Forum.

Working exclusively in pastels Diana, a former teacher in Swindon, is also a member of the Lawrence Society of Art, Wiltshire Artists Society, the Marlborough Artists Society, the Highworth Artists Society. She has exhibited with the Society of All Artists in London where her pictures sold quite regularly and also in Bristol with The Clifton Art Society                                                                                                                                                                

 Several of her pictures can be found in private collections in New Zealand, USA, India and Channel Islands as well as many places in England. Several of her pictures were bought for hanging in the Intermediate Care Centre of the Great Western Hospital, Swindon.Her pictures have been regularly selected for hanging at the bi-annual Oexman Prize exhibition in Devizes. Diana was an adviser to Age Concern in respect of money raising art exhibitions and she acted as co-ordinator for an exhibition which raised money for the Evolution Appeal (a charity supplying material for the Great Western Hospital). Also in 2004 she organised an Art display which raised money to add to the appeal to save the Church steeple.
